IDENTITY CAMPAIGNS

for Destiny Outreach's city-wide prayer outreach.

Created to engage the city to participate in a city-wide prayer movement in one day.

Chicago It's Time - Pray is an annual event that celebrates the unity of the city in prayer.  Taking place on Friday, October 23, 2020, the event was made up of over 400 events throughout the city.

 

PaviDesigned Graphic Design created the visual identity and promotional materials for the event.  For identity development which was restricted by a color palette of red, blue, beige, and white that would be inviting to everyone.

This identity brought together the colors of the flag and the inclusion of beige because we believe that the details make the design. The Chicago It's Time Pray title designed is used as the basis of the graphic solution to be used in several locations, including the VU Room in Chicago. This focus on the minutiae reveals the negative spaces and elegant fonts of the characters themselves.

Large scale type is cropped to reveal powerful positive and negative shapes in the individual letterforms. The result is unmistakably Chicago It’ but introduces elements that are engaging as well as being classic and modern.
